There is no change in my wife's 485 status. But her EAD is approved. There is no mention of card production in the email. Looks like lot of people got the CPO email directly with post decision activity. Can somebody confirm the sequence in which it happens? How long does it take for the card to arrive? May I ask your immigration status. I believe you already got your GC and roaming around here just beat shit out of others. Each and every of your post is convincing me in that direction only. You would be happy to see the H1 guys thrown out from here. So it will increase your demand and you can make more money. We know EB2 - I dates have not moved since Oct ,2010 .
So India regular quota for the last six months : 5800/2 = 1900 .
Since dates have not moved, I am assuming 1900 should also be considered towards porting.
so my conclusion is so far 1200 + 1900 = 3100 porting already took place. (though only 1900 really got GC)

I strongly doubt your argument. For the past six months , Demand data before Jan1st,2006 stayed zero for EB2 I/C. If USCIS thinks one of those pre 2006 cases are approvable then we would see this reflect in DOS demand data.
At the end of the day, whatever data that is listed in Demand data is all that matters. Since it is the only determining factor for setting VB dates and nothing else

Assuming all cases approved from Oct-2010 till March 2011 are porting, means 233*6=1,398.
In this case total porting is only 1,398+75 = 1,473
In reality we don't really know how many of the approved cases(1,398) are ported.
Just for year 2005 October 2010 inventory show 756 cases pending and January 2011 inventory show only 573! which means 183 cases are either approved or denied in addition to ported cases for the same period.

My LC was stuck in backlog centers when perm labor applications was being approved left, right and centre�

As per my knowledge, one can't file I485 application until and unless priority date is current. How come this reporting is showing 485 application count of EB2 after Aug 2007 priority dates.
As per FAQ's (RED text in above post) these numbers are based on priority dates
These applicants might have married someone from a non India/China country and thus even though they were born in India, can file I485 due to a different country of chargeability

Declaration of M. Cannon filed in one of the civil cases in Northern GA, dated October 4th, 2007. To know for sure you have to have a pending lawsuit and send a discovery request to district US Attorney.

I raised SR on Aug 12th..No Response Yet...
Infopass appointment said that my file got assigned to Examination officer on Aug 4th...Not sure if Examination Officer and IO are same or not...
But the real kicker is i got second FP on July 26th, 2010 for Code 1...I didnt see any LUD after second FP...I am guessing this is where i am stuck with second time name check or back ground check verifications...
Also is it good to go for DHS 7001 form right way...i mean ombudsman request...
I will propose that you call USCIS customer service and talk to a 2nd level officer to find out the status of your case.. It doesn't hurt to pursue from this point.
I am unaware of any concrete proof that contacting Congressman or Ombudsman has actually helped directly...Most of us are just speculating on this.
I think you need to hear the fact that your case is assigned to an officer..Then it is just a matter of time.
