I received the same thing. A canned reply asking to use their phone lines for inquiries. They returned my original envelope as well as my letter :rolleyes:

either you can figure as Principal or dependent but not both.

Both, me and my wife have approved I-140 through two seperate consulting companies.
Can we apply for I-485 individually and add the other as dependant at the same time?

Please dont even bring up freedom struggle into this. Obviously its seems like you know less than what you think you know about it. It will even weaken the point you are trying to make. Gandhi didnt only preach peace. He also preached many other things....speaking the truth for example.

I think we have proved something like this not very long back about 60-70 years back. We have set bonfires of all our imported clothes and said NO to anything made in Britain. Right. So what did we really mean. I am sure many brands we wear today are international too. Nothing wrong.
Why did somebody show the other side to be slapped, did he like to be slapped. Its to get the point across.
Its a way of protest, a peaceful way to get attention to a problem which must be fixed.
If most of you dont agree, then I may be wrong, lets see response.

That is not an RFE. It's a welcome notice, which is expected.

My reasoning for less than 3k visas for EB3 I
Assume EB3 I has 2800 available per year
2800/12 = 233.33 per month.
The spread sheet shows that there are 135 pending with PD of March 01 or less. Which is less than 233 the PD did not cross April because there are 452 applications in april. A PD of April makes sense. Using calculation the PD will be July 2001 in Dec.
if you assume 8080 visas per year then there will be 673 visas availble per month and the PD should have crossed to May 2001 because the total pending 485s on May 1st are 587. If we go with your assumption then the PD in December will be at Jan 2002...I

How DOS decides the dates in each bulletin is also a mysterious and unknown area.

I was told if you are going back to your home country, even if you don't have valid US Visa stamped, you don't need a transit visa. When you come back ofcourse you will have a vaild US visa

We got our GC cards on Friday.
It seems that USCIS is processing cases which have been pre-adjudicated very fast.

My wife recently started working using EAD. The HR folks there are well aware of EAD as there are people already working there on EAD. They did not have any issues with EAD. The only thing that they were saying from the begining is that they cannot sponser H1B and also the only thing they asked is whether she work authorization in this country. When she submmited the I9 form, the HR person just remained her to send the copy of EAD everytime she renews it

Saimrathi, you are posting the same message on all threads. Anyway, I am sure some of the media will pick up the story and write about it. I think there are benefits from this campaign. The name Immigration Voice is out there. We may get more members of our community to join us and participate in future campaigns and we can learn from experience on how to carry out future campaigns, protests etc. We had to speak out in some way on what happened to us with the USCIS Visa Bulletin fiasco. I believe it was worth it for all these reasons.

I have attended the Interview for H1 B renewal at the US consulate in Toronto (Although i see a lot of posts concerning US consulates in India....thought this might be helpful for someone who would attend an interviewat US consulate in Toronto)
I attended the Interview on Jan 16th at toronto for H1 B renewal and i got my passport back on Jan 23rd (4 business days as the officer told me as jan 21st is a holiday...martin Luther king day)
I have been speaking to some people at the consulate and for them it is taking 5-8 business days and for some they got it in 4 business days.....the worst i have seen is for a lady who was coming to the consulate from past 3 weeks everyday and there is no ETA on her status..(i hope she gets her passport soon:) )...
Unfortunately most of the people who attended there did not know of these delays and are struck cancelling and re-booking their flight tickets and extending their hotel stay

They have not specified anything like my prior company is fake in any of the communication email.They are asking me come back because they find something wrong about my prior company after four year and i am not able to provide more evidence.During four year i worked in 10 to 15 project for diff client and for each project first they did BG and put me in project.Now they are asking me that provide some more evidence or come back to offshore.
I know if i come back to india they will give me layoff from company.In this situation how do i fight with my company.
Please any of guide me if any of member come across in this situation

Finally, we got the approval emails for self & wife.
I had got an email from TSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov last friday (09/17/2010) with the update below-
1: The review was complete
2: Visa numbers were requested 2 months ago and all security/prints are current
3: Files have been forwarded to officers for completion.
In my case the email to SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov helped a lot. They in turn sent an email to TSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov to step up the processing.
As others have mentioned IV has played a big part throughout this journey. Thank you again.
